Cooling tunnels are necessary whenever it is needed to drop the mass/product temperature and stabilizing the shape, whether it is a formed confectionery product or a rope, making the downstream operations possible in continuous without the need of a separate curing area. Executive can provide any type of cooling solutions downstream forming lines, inline for ropes, or for rolling and scoring solutions, all equipped with connection to chillers or direct expansion. All are designed for sanitation, food grade and the greatest flexibility. These tunnels have been especially designed to handle all shaped products for best shape retention and avoiding product deformation.

MULTI-TIER TUNNELS FOR ROPES AND FOR PELLETS
Multi-tier cooling tunnels are necessary downstream either multi-rope extrusion lines to feed at the proper stabilized temperature the downstream cut&wrap machines or downstream Rolling and Scoring lines for pellets to properly cool and separate each individual pellets. They come in different configurations depending on the production requirements and temperature targets, typically from 7 to 11 tiers. GMP and Food design are standard as well as stainless steel for parts in contact with product. All parameters are controlled by PLC and tunnels are fully accessible for maintenance and cleaning.
